Assad ‘s Syrian Army at Gates of Caliphate capital Raqqa

A year ago the Caliphate of ISIS was expanding and Assad regime seemed on verge of collapse.
Russian air strikes and intervention has exposed the hypocrisy of America and its allies who had been claiming to be ‘fighting the ISIS’-
In just less than a year Russian intervention has reversed the fortunes and turned the tables on ISIS.

The Syrian Army plans to launch an attack on Islamic State’s de facto capital Raqqa and its other stronghold of Deir ez-Zor with the help of Russian air support. The announcement was made Russia’s envoy to the UN Office in Geneva Aleksey Borodavkin.
