Iran's Ahmedinenaj clarifies Palestinian Statehood Recognition is a step towards destroying Israel

The Iranian president says the creation of an internationally recognised Palestinian state would be the first step towards wiping out Israel. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was addressing worshippers at Friday prayers in Tehran.

“The Zionist regime is the axis of unity of all the world’s thieves and criminals. Do not suppose that by recognition of a Palestinian state your existence will be stabilised.”

Ahmadinejad delivered his speech on al Quds, or Jerusalem Day, an annual show of support for the Palestinian cause that is held on the last Friday of Ramadan.

This is interesting in that west and world at large vainly hopes that by granting a Recognition they are defusing the situation.

But both Arabs and the Iranians who have thier proxies who wreck peace by ceaseless war mongering such as the Hizbollah and the Hamas, think that is one step closer to annihilating Israel.

The 1986 Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine played a major role in Italy disconnecting itself from nuclear power.

One year later Italians voted in a referendum to shut its four nuclear power stations. By the turn of the decade the plug had all but been pulled at all of them.

That did not stop Italy importing electricity produced at atomic plants abroad, with Italian energy giant ENEL making a number of multi-million euro investments.
